Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EvenBeds, a web application operated by Station Board LLC ("we," "us," or "Company"). By accessing or using EvenBeds at app.evenbeds.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

EvenBeds is a shift assignment tool designed for nursing facility charge nurses. The service allows users to configure facility layouts (units, halls, and beds), manage staff rosters, and generate balanced shift assignment sheets. EvenBeds does not store or process Protected Health Information (PHI).

2. Account Registration

To use EvenBeds, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription and Payment

  • EvenBeds is offered as a monthly subscription at $39.99/month or an annual subscription at $399/year.
  • All new accounts include a 30-day free trial.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use EvenBeds for any unlawful purpose
  • Enter Protected Health Information (patient names, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, etc.) into the system
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from EvenBeds
  • Resell or redistribute access to the service without our written consent

5. HIPAA Compliance Disclaimer

EvenBeds is designed to avoid handling Protected Health Information. The system uses only room numbers, bed IDs, and staff names to generate shift assignments. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that no PHI is entered into the system. Station Board LLC is not liable for any PHI that a user voluntarily inputs into EvenBeds.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of EvenBeds — including the software, design, text, and graphics — are the exclusive property of Station Board LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all facility configuration data, staff information, and assignment data you enter into EvenBeds. We do not claim ownership of your data. Upon cancellation, you may request an export of your data before it is deleted.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of EvenBeds but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Station Board LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of EvenBeds. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

EvenBeds is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use EvenBeds ceases immediately. Sections regarding limitation of liability, disclaimers, and governing law survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of EvenBeds after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of EvenBeds shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
